The evidence we found that Pangea exists is that we found the same fossils on different continents. Also, that South America seems to fit into Africa easily. Pangea was formed in the Permian Period. The person who discovered Pangea is Alford Wegnerd in the 1900's.

The earth has 4 different layers of the earth. The crust is 30 miles, mantle is 1800 miles long, the outer core is 1300 miles, and the inner core is 800 miles. The crust is rocky and the upper mantle is cool and the lower mantle is hot.

The Ring of Fire is stretching from New Zealand, along the eastern edge of Asia, north across the Aleutian Island of Alaska, and south along the coast of North and South America. The Ring of Fire is 40,000 long and is shaped like a horseshoe. The Ring of Fire is 75% of the world's active volcanoes. The Ring of Fire is made of volcanic and seismic activity. 90% of the world's earthquakes and 81% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. It is a direct consequence of plate tectonics and the movement and collisions of crustal plates.
